Nate McMurray

Nate McMurray is an ex-Grand Island Town Supervisor and attorney.

McMurray does not have any environmental stances on his website or elsewhere, but he has been endorsed by the New York League of Conservation Voters. He has also created a plan for job creation and economic growth in western New York that includes encouraging the development of clean energy industries and has created jobs while investing in green technology and infrastructure while the Town Supervisor of Grand Island. We would love to hear from him about his views!

Chris Jacobs is a State Senator, Ex-Erie County Clerk & Real Estate Redevelopment Contractor.

While Chris Jacobs does not have any environmental stances on his website, in 2019 he called on state officials to increase New York’s budget for the Environmental Protection Fund. He has also worked towards a moratorium for wind turbines built on the Great Lakes and other freshwater shores, which has caused fears of disturbing buried hazardous materials, and co-sponsored a bill in the New York Senate that will prohibit offshore drilling. He also, however, voted against a bill intended to increase New York’s renewable energy goals, and has no public stances regarding fossil fuels and the transition to renewable energy.
